What is shingles?

If you have never had shingles before, you do not know what disease. Shingles, which is properly called shingles, is essentially the adult form of chickenpox. In fact, it is the reactivation of the disease in adults. Unlike children get a rash, however, shingles affects only a small part of the skin. shingles symptoms include a rash that follows right along the top of some nerves. Usually, these nerves are in the body, neck, scalp or face.

Usually, shingles only affects people over 50, it is uncommon for young adults to suffer the symptoms of shingles. Such as chickenpox, usually a person only gets shingles once, but it is not uncommon for someone to have repeated bouts of shingles. In general, these outbreaks occur in the same place.

There are a few shingles symptoms other than the rash. If you have shingles on your face, it can affect the eyes or nose. Shingles affecting the eye can actually lead to permanent blindness, so it is very important to consult your doctor immediately if you suspect you have shingles on your faces.

Even if you have the rash, you will experience many symptoms even children with chickenpox. The early stages, including fever, malaise, headache, stomach pain, and itching or burning around the area where the rash appears. This area can also unexpectedly injured a few days before you break out, but in general, the pain begins only once you start to see the eruption. In some rare cases, a person may not explode in a rash at all.

If you do go out, you will see a line of red spots in the middle of a swollen area. The spots will blister and, if burst, ooze clear fluid. Finally, the vesicles crust. They may bleed, itch, and hurt. Once the rash disappears, some people still feel pain around the area.
